WEAVING & VIOLINS AREN'T PUNK #2

 

Weaving (2021) a quarter-sized zine about the beauty and significance of cornrows and why I decided to switch from braids to locs after the pandemic.

Violins Aren't Punk #2 (2018) an interview with Priya Ray, violinist of KLS. She talks about growing up first-generation Indian American in the Midwest and then moving to Miami in the 1990s, and what the punk scene was like at the time there. She also talks about her experience of becoming disabled as an adult and continuing her life as an artist and touring musician.
